Just wanted to share you guys the stuff i got this december-january.

I’ve placed the entire set up to the left of my desktop for easy viewing of strategy guides and combo videos XD The biggest challenge here were the cords. I had to buy an extension cord and rewire the entire table to accommodate the new stuff. Read more of this post

2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 24,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 9 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

My Note: Not bad,  considering the fact that the blog wasnt regularly updated since august. Will try harder this 2012 =D

UP-Ame Saturday

Since I’m not able to go to AFA11 in Singapore this year, I opted to enjoy my supposed AFA Saturday as much as I can.

UP-AME is a yearly festival which usually occurs around November. I used the word festival instead of convention not only because that’s how its marketed through its communication efforts, but also because of the entire atmosphere of the event. Girls above are from their maid café, or in this case a yurei café. I tried to make the entire day awesome not only by going to UP-Ame, but also by visiting multiple areas that may also interest you guys as well. Read more of this post

September’s Monthly Musings

It’s been what, a month since I last placed anything in the blog? To the readers of this blog, thank you for the continuous support that you have given me. I’m quite surprised that there were people who emailed me and there were still readers despite the inactivity. Been really busy at work and life in general, nothing serious or life-endangering. I’ve also decided to do other things that would either be an investment in time, or I won’t feel that my time was wasted.

Speaking of productive things, I’ve decided to visit two exhibits during the month of September. To be specific, I decided to go out with some friends during my birthday just to take a look at galleries. I’m not exactly talking about the fine arts gallery here though. As for that picture with the classroom, I’ll get to that later =D Read more of this post

Busy Week – Ozinefest

Been really busy the past month and this first week of April because of multiple opportunities that came up, which I took all at once. No I’m not regretting I got too many, in fact I believe that it’s a learning experience that will allow me to grow as a person. For starters, last week I was invited to go to a company sponsored vacation trip to Barcelona and I really did get to see new things and learn about their culture. I’ll be posting a report of the places I’ve been to after I’ve gotten most of the pictures from my other co-workers (300+images to edit ^^;;)

This week, the fighting game community I belong to is going to join anime magazine brand, Ozine, in their yearly three day event, Ozinefest. On all three days, we’ll be handling a gaming booth which will allow free games for fighting game enthusiasts such as Blazblue, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Guilty Gear and Arcana Hearts 3. Office Trip – Barcelona

Next week, from March 28, 2011 up till April 3, 2011 I won’t be blogging for a while because the place where I work is going to put me in a box and send me to this place here.

That funky looking building is the Sagrada Familia, designed by Antoni Gaudi and has been 1882. Expected date of completion is on 2026, lol that’s a long project ^^;; and it can be found in Barcelona, Spain. Yep, that’s right our awesome office is going to pay for our trip to Barcelona and I was part of those who were eligible to join the trip, hopefully nothing happens out of the blue like a hurricane monster deciding to ruin your plans. “You are not Alone” – Japan Earthquake Tragedy

First of, I’d like to express my sincerest condolences to the ones who have lost loved ones during the Earthquake which happened last Friday, March 11, 2011.

These types of calamities are one of those things that changes your life in an instant. Yesterday you were partying, today you’re now homeless and probably you’ve lost someone as well. It makes you think about the way you live. Read more of this post

Canon 450D Camera Repair

I really don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden the auto focus in my camera stopped working and that would severely limit me especially when it comes to taking pictures of events which requires you to not constantly focus your lens manually.

And since the lens is already out of warranty, I had to surrender some dough to get it repaired. Its not actually pretty bad for 1,150php (about 25.50 USD) considering that it’s an SLR lens. Read more of this post
