1/8 Caster Fate/EXTRA Review

Not exactly the cloaked Caster that people have been accustomed to (both in Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night), but nonetheless just as interesting as her ‘canonical” counterparts are.

After being delayed for two months, and then waiting for another month to get her, I’ve finally obtained the Caster figure! I’ve been eyeing this figure since I saw it’s unpainted version in Wonfes, and I’m glad that the painted version came out well also XD Read more of this post

1/6 Saber New Costume Review

Aaaand another review. I think this is by far the largest scaled figure I have. Very tempted to buy the Nanoha crew in their swimwear as well, but maybe when I can find room to keep them ^^

Fate/Zero is about to come out next month and I have to say I’m excited to see how the remaining chapters of book 3 and 4 will be animated. In the meantime, let’s take a look at one of Good Smile Company’s earlier Saber figures. Read more of this post

Homura Akemi Nendoroid Review

What better way to start off March than a review of our favorite tragic magical girl, Homura!

This Homu Nendo was a Christmas gift to me by Seika. She’s been prodding me to update the blog lately, and I guess now is a better time than anything since I have more hours to myself now ^^ Read more of this post

1/8 Saber New Costume Ver Review

I’m actually reviewing this figure because she now belongs to someone else. Sold her along with Maid Saber and Butler Saber to a new owner.

This Saber is from Kotobukiya, and the costume is from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. This is actually one of the older Saber figures out there and I have to say it’s made quite nicely. Read more of this post

Ozinefest Figure Special

Get ready for an eyeful of figure pictures (I really mean that this is a LONG article). 100+ images worth of figure pictures are occupying my flickr account so expect not to be able to access the other pics when you go to flickr to check other pics outside of this article. (darn you 200 image-at-a-time limit).

Ozine, and Team Onii-Chan was able to deliver last December 28-29 a figure-centric event. You don’t see this happening much in the Philippines as most conventions that cater to Japanese sub-culture enthusiasts focuses more on cosplay, or general anime stuff. Read more of this post

Saber Fate/Extra Sega Prize Review

This game has been keeping me preoccupied for the past two weeks such that I haven’t been able to blog much or reply to people lately. In the end, it was inevitable that I bought this figure the moment I saw it.

Okay, I wasn’t exactly the one who bought it. My friend told me “Hey, I havent given you a birthday gift yet have I? I’ll buy you any figure as long as it’s in the 1,000 peso range”. That’s around two thousand yen, and for those who think that they wouldn’t find anything nice with that budget, think again. Read more of this post

1/8 Samurai Tamaki Kousaka review

Hmmm its been another week of zero blogging, or twitter or any form of social media and I’ve been itching to write articles during that time. I was able to find some time in between a lot of stuff, and what better way to spend the time than by ogling reviewing an awesome figure.

This version of Tamaki comes from Manaka de Ikuno!! Final Dragon Chronicle -Guilty Requiem-. The game puts the To Heart 2 cast in an RPG-fantasy setting of sorts. I can’t explain past the game, since I haven’t played it, but the character designs are charming enough to make people want to get a figure (even if they haven’t played the game yet) ^^ Read more of this post

UP-AME figure display

As mentioned in the last post, I’ll be sharing with you guys the figures that were up in the figure showcase found in UP-AME.

The figure showcase was made possible by Team Onii-chan  . These guys have been active for several conventions already to provide con-goers with figure eye candy. Recently, they’ve also started having talks on figure maintenance as well. Took pictures of all the figures (which were currently present when I got there) found during UP-Ame. Hope you guys enjoy. Servant Saber Figure Reviews

Yes that’s plural. Decided to review two figures at the same time because I saw these figures and I was reminded of a maid and butler café.

To those who are unfamiliar with the series, no they’re not twins. Those two figures are from Type-Moon’s Fate Series. To the left we have Saber in her bodyguard attire which you’ll see in Fate/Zero, while to the right we have Saber’s maid costume found in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia.

Saber Lily –Disassembled

I’m pretty sure some of you are curious enough to inspect your figures and notice that some portions look like they are removable. I’m sure you’ve seen this boot leg of Saber Lily ~Everdistant Utopia~ lying on my work table from some of my figure reviews already and its about time we get to take a peek of what’s under all that tough exterior of hers ^^

First of all, before any Saber fan sends me hate mail, please do note that this figure is a bootleg figure that costs probably around P1000 (that’s around Y2000) and one of my friends gave this figure to me for free. I’ve been wanting to experiment on this ever since I got it. Read more of this post
