Blazblue artbook giveaway

I’m pretty sure most videogaming communities out there have their own form of giveaways. Shirts, mugs, stickers, but I’m sure people hardly find artbooks being used as giveaways XD

This is a thank you gift to the Blazblue community for their continued support and for being able to go to the rannbats which were held last saturday, July 30, 2011. Two of the community members and I planned to make this giveaway many moons ago (like since November or December) and after being delayed for a couple of times, it was finally released. We never announced to anyone about this effort so it really was a surprise to all those who came during the event. Read more of this post

Atelier Series Official Chronicle Review

I’m not really a fan of the Atelier Series simply because I haven’t played the game, but I was sucker punched by Mel Kishida’s cover art which led me into buy it XD.

Udon Entertainment has just published an english version of the “Atelier Series Official Chronicle” from Gust (yep, that’s the same people responsible for Ar Tonelico). You might be wondering why I’m making a big deal out of this, but being able to read the interview sections from the Planning department, Sound department, Voice talents, and Mel Kishida was the biggest treat for non-jap speaking, kanji illiterate, me. Spanning for 272 pages, this artbook is a treat for both those familiar and new to the Atelier series. Read more of this post

Blazblue Continuum Shift Material Collection

Been waiting for this mook to arrive since April came and after being delayed twice, my copy (along with two others) has finally arrived!

For those who have been reading this blog, you already probably have an idea that I’m a huge fan of Arksys games. Thus it comes to no surprise that I’ll be buying the material collection sooner or later. I didn’t buy Arcadia’s Blazblue CS2 book due to lack of fundage and that fact that most of the stuff that’s really important, specifically the frame data, will be translated by members of Dustloop. GSC 5th Photo Contest entry: Makeshift Umbrella – Hatsune Miku Nendoroid

Well, that was a mouthful for a title. Despite not being able to get into the final 200 of the 5th GSC Photo contest, I still nonetheless had fun, and I have to thank my comrades Mark Santos, Pete Sison, Oliver, and Ryan Dael, who made my experience very fruitful.

This was my entry for the photo-contest titled ‘makeshift umbrella’. It was drizzling that day so outdoor shots for us were somewhat limited, not to mention we didn’t know we needed some sort of permit to shoot in the garden park. Read more of this post

Singapore Item GET

Its been a while since I’ve last posted in my own blog, two and a half months long to be exact. A lot of things came up between the time I’ve posted and today, and its been a week since I came back from Singapore. Had to work hard to get there and obtain the goods you see in the picture below.

Originally, I went to Singapore for the sole purpose of going to AFA, but what happened was I spent loads of time experiencing shopping in Singapore instead of staying at AFA.I think the total time I’ve spent in AFA was just 4 hours or less, and thats on both Saturday and Sunday. But I did buy a few things in AFA since I really didn’t want to leave empty handed after spending 23sgd for tickets on both days. You can learn more about AFA at http://www.animefestival.asia/index.html Read more of this post
