Fate/Zero Anime, Ending Sequence Snippets

I rarely talk about anime, but this one deserves a mention and I highly recommend it!

I’ve been waiting for almost 4 years for the prequel to get an anime the moment I saw the story. Been lurking around type-moon forum boards (particularly the Nvqsr forums) for translations of the chapters and I think it was last year only that the entire book was finished! Hurray hurray! Fate/Zero PV

Type Moon, being the awesome people that they are,has decided that having Unlimited Bladeworks and KAra no Kyoukai animated was not enough. So they announced months ago that they’ll be animating Fate/Zero which will be shown on winter 2011! PV  means promotional video, not a health care video btw ^^;;

Fate/Zero is the prequel to Type-Moon’s popular series Fate/Stay Night and this time around the main writer for this series is Gen Urobochi, the same writer from Puella Magia Madoka Magica, so expect some tragic twist and turns here and there. Just so you know Urobochi finished writing F/Z years before Puella was aired, so you know he is very well seasoned in writing tragedies =D Yuki Kajiura is doing the sounds so yeah, expect awesome BGMs Read more of this post

Anime Winter 2010 Afterthoughts

Another season of anime has passed, and quite frankly the amount of anime media I consume surprises me. Prepare for ensuing wall of text.

Last season, I’ve finished around eleven titles and kinda shelved aside the other shows for future watching (such as Kimi ni Todoke, gasp). I haven’t  included the other shows I am watching such as american sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” and the current tokusatsu series “Kamen Rider OOO”. I’d like to talk about how the current season is full of titles that MIGHT blow your mind away, but I’ll put that off for the next blog article. Take note that the titles shown here are the ones that ended this winter, and aren’t necessarily ones that belonged this season. To Aru and Stardriver are shows from last season that ended this season for instance, while Madoka just finished this April. Read more of this post

Winter 2010 season thus far

This season probably marks the first time I’m watching fewer than usual number of Animes than usual. I have work, social obligations and other significant activities such as Gunpla, BBPH, and drawing ^^. Forgive me if all the pictures aren’t of the same size DX

Out of all the animes this season I’ve only picked up nine titles which I am faithfully following. There are three other titles which I also am eyeing on, but I don’t see myself jumping on the must-watch train just for these titles at the moment. Before I start reviewing let me remind the reader that I usually try to watch only up till episode 3 to decide if I like it or not. If its not here, then its not within my interest at the moment =D For a larger view, please click here Read more of this post
