BLK Artbook Review

It’s hardbound, heavy, and 240 pages worth of huke artworks. The BLK artbook is probably one of the most sought after artbooks this year. Not bad, for a P2,800 pricetag, which includes the shipping and handling(that’s almost Y5600).

The BLK artbook comes in three parts. The first two are probably huke’s biggest works which landed him to being a rockstar in the anime-illustration world. The third one is a collection of some of huke’s lesser known works which are still just as good as the first two in terms of art (this is what huke does when he is bored i guess hahaha) Continue reading

Megurine Luka Nendoroid -Cheerful Japan Edition Review-

Time to review another figure from Good Smile Company’s successful Cheerful Japan campaign.

This version of Megurine Luka is another product of Good Smile Company’s Cheerful Japan Campaign. I guess after the success of the Miku Cheerful Japan, they decided to go full blast with it and start selling more figures. (I have to apologize for the initial post because there were missing images :P) Continue reading

Uniqlo Philippines First Day

It’s been like three months since I last posted ANYTHING at all in the blog. I do have to apologize to that. I’ll make a post about that soon.

I’ve only heard about UNIQLO from their ads whenever I take a look at the Cannes Lions list, and the brand automatically won me over the moment I saw it. I personally love the brand and it’s products and am I glad that it finally came here to the Philippines. Continue reading

1/8 Caster Fate/EXTRA Review

Not exactly the cloaked Caster that people have been accustomed to (both in Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night), but nonetheless just as interesting as her ‘canonical” counterparts are.

After being delayed for two months, and then waiting for another month to get her, I’ve finally obtained the Caster figure! I’ve been eyeing this figure since I saw it’s unpainted version in Wonfes, and I’m glad that the painted version came out well also XD Continue reading

1/6 Saber New Costume Review

Aaaand another review. I think this is by far the largest scaled figure I have. Very tempted to buy the Nanoha crew in their swimwear as well, but maybe when I can find room to keep them ^^

Fate/Zero is about to come out next month and I have to say I’m excited to see how the remaining chapters of book 3 and 4 will be animated. In the meantime, let’s take a look at one of Good Smile Company’s earlier Saber figures. Continue reading

Blazblue Continuum Shift EXTEND

Released during Valentine’s day, the English Version of Blazblue Continuum Shift EXTEND is a must get for any BB fan.

Currently I’ve been preoccupied by this game not only due to competitive reasons, but also because of the other features this game has. I have to say for an “anime fighter”, Blazblue really took it to the next level when it came to delivering stuff that any anime fan would like. Btw the game on the right is the first Continuum Shift game, and I have to say, I wasn’t pleased with the cover DX Continue reading

Otaku Expo 2012

Kind of a late post here. There have been a lot of things happening all over and I’ll share some of them with you readers soon. For now try to enjoy the pictures from the last event which I’ve helped out recently.

Otaku Expo happened last January 21-22, 2012 and is produced by Ozine, the same people who brought the three day long convention, Ozinefest, to the Philippine convention fray. I have to say the videogaming booth this year is a bigger success because of the variety of games available this time around. Continue reading

1/8 Saber New Costume Ver Review

I’m actually reviewing this figure because she now belongs to someone else. Sold her along with Maid Saber and Butler Saber to a new owner.

This Saber is from Kotobukiya, and the costume is from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. This is actually one of the older Saber figures out there and I have to say it’s made quite nicely. Continue reading
